I love Kathleen, as a first and middle name. So much prettier than Katherine and a bit more timeless and easier to know how to spell than Kaitlyn.
Really hate Joan. It sounds so heavy and sullen.
Beverly is better than Joan, but it has a bossy, officious vibe to it. Beverly is that lady at work who never stops talking even when she has run out of new things to say, and she's always trying to get up in everybody's business. (But she is always willing to work overtime for someone else and brings in the best cookies in town.)
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
