I work with a woman named Margherita. DH loves it as a name. I really disliked it at first but it has been growing on me lately...My feelings are very mixed about it :- What do you guys think?

I really like Margherita, but I would not probably use it because I am hardly Italian.

I've always loved this name! I also like Margarita, Marguerite, and others. I don't like any nicknames for it though.

My sister is called Margaretha and I prefer that spelling and pronounciation to Margarita, cause when I read Margarita, I just think of the Pizza Margarita and to me, it also isn't homogen enough ;-).

Pizza?

A Margherita pizza is a pizza with just tomato sauce, cheese and maybe herbs or something.
I dont like it. Its also a drink
