[Opinions] Elodie
I'm planning on using it for the protagonist of a comic series I'm writing, I've personally always liked the name but probably not going to use it for a future child. I wanted to give the character a more delicate sounding name to contrast how emotionally strong she becomes over the course of the story. She's British and around 25 at the beginning of the story with green eyes and auburn hair. Her family is quite wealthy but humble, her father's name is Martin (a lawyer) and her mother's name is Willow (a psychiatrist), she also has an older sister named Felicity and a younger brother named Adrian. Unrelated but maybe also related, her love interest is named Kristian Dušek, a 27 year old mixed British/Czech young man she has known since she was 7 or 8, her family is very close to his but the timing on their relationship developing further is never right.
What are your general thoughts on the name Elodie, and do you like the sound of it for this character?

It's okay (seems generic pretty to me, like Julie or Ella or Melody but also more French like using Amélie instead of Emily would).
Trendwise, it'd make more sense to me if Elodie were the mom and Willow were the 20-something daughter, especially with a sibling named Felicity.

Yes it's nice and fits well
I love Elodie and definitely think it’s a good name for a character.
It sounds kinda whiny to me.
