I know what equinox is, of course. But the name sounds so medical to me, I picture little pink pills in a bottle warning you not to mix it with alcohol and not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking it.

I'd use it for a pet, maybe.

I like it, although personally, I'd only use it as a MN or for a horse or goat. It's not meaningful enough to me to justify using it as a human FN, I think.
There's an implication of balance, and it sounds current and namey to me because of Quinn / Knox.
