I think there's like an 85% chance that if I had a son, he'd be named Solomon.
It was a favorite for a long time, and then for a few years I preferred Absalom, but now I'm back to preferring Solomon.
I'm not sure why exactly. I guess I think it's a steady, calm, strong name.
In the US, it's never been out of the top 1000.
I like Abraham (mainly for NN Abe) but that seems sterner, and I wouldn't use it. The other two are okay.
