I think Hamish is ok, nms, but nice anyway. I love Bronte for a boy and because of the Bronte sisters I think it can be used for a girl as well, very nice :)

Bronte for a girl? Sorry, its sounds very Masculine to me, Bronte for the boy maybe. Heather or Haley, Hilary, Hailey, Hannah maybe for the girl?-Kaylen (aka Kay!)

I have heard of four Brontes-who are all girls and they are all very cute and girly girls! After the Bronte sisters, not many would think Bronte is a boy. Only this site suggests it's masculine, but hundreds of baby name books say it is for both sexes, used mostly for girls.

Hamish - Nice. Very dignified and stately, yet not posh or anything.Bronte - Like it. I usually don't particularly like surname names, especially not for girls, but Bronte makes me think of the Brontë sisters, which is why I find it feminine and strong.

Thank you for your positive responses. :)
Hamish is just one of the names for boys I love but I'll use it! Same with Bronte.
