[Opinions] Chiara
Replies
Chiara is a very pretty name, and reminds me of a little girl I used to know back when I was about, idk, maybe 7 years old. She had two older sisters, Luciana (then in high school) and Tania (3 or 4 years older than I was); together they were first-generation Italian-Americans. I was sad when they moved away.
Moving on from that, Chloe Fernanda is a very charming combo despite Chloe's overuse.

Thanks, erb816. I do think Chloe is overused, but I still like it :)
To me, Chiara is a little bit boring because it's such a popular name. I prefer the variant Clara, because it makes me remember Ancien Rome. The name Chiara is used in Italy, and in Italy very few people bear a middle name. Maybe Chiara Maria would work. Maria Chiara is also quite popular.
Chloe is wonderful, Fernanda sounds too elderly and severe, although I like the masculine Fernando. Maybe Chloe Fernande could be nicer. Chiara's sisters' names are cute.

Interesting feedback, MB. In my area, Chiara is not a common name at all, so it would not be boring. It's interesting how certain names are worn out in some parts of the world but not in others.
It's okay. I prefer Clara.
I dislike Fernanda.
I think people will mispronounce it. It sounds like kee-AH-ra in Italian but usually become KYAH-ra when said quickly. I think people will say chee-AH-ra or see-AIR-a or chee-AIR-a or something like that.
Chloe Fernanda flows well but I dislike Fernanda.
Chiara goes with Luisa, the others are okay with it but don't work that well. In my opinion Chiara goes with names like Alessia, Giulia, Arianna and Sofia.
