I really like it. I find Greta to be a very sweet and endearing name. Completely refreshing as well.
I chose it for the main protagonist in a series of mine that I've been working on for a number of years now, and it's also a name that I wouldn't mind considering using in real life, if given the opportunity. (:

The gr sound is not attractive, and gives Greta a grating quality.

Ugly and grating.

In the US I think it's an old lady name. I know it's popular in some places, and Greta Thunberg makes it sound a little younger, but it practically has the word "gray" in it (well, almost) :P

I like it, much better than the Danish equivalent, which looks and sounds very dated and crusty to me. Greta sound and looks much better, probably because of the '-a' ending which is my personal weakness for female names.

It's ok. It is a little dated, but I don't mind it. I think it's unique and in a way, pretty!

Should be under OP - sorry. m.Definitely a name on its own; I don't see it used as a nn for Margaret in today's world. I like it, though not enough to use. And I prefer Grethe, with the same pronunciation.
