[Opinions] Dany
What can Dany [f] be short for besides the boring Daniel feminization Danielle | Daniela or the fantastical Daenerys? Is there anything?I suppose there’s also Danica...Bonus...1.) Do you like Dany | Dani?
2.) Do you think it’s too incomplete to stand alone?_________________

Dani over Dany
I think it could maybe stand alone, but I'd rather it be a nickname. I really do like Danica. Dania, Danae, Danita.

I don't like it as a standalone name. I like Danica

Jordana? I like Daniela, though. And it's fine, by itself.

Jordana is clever. Thanks :)

With that spelling, it should logically rhyme with Zany. I know logic and names don't go together, but why drop the second n? What's the point?I love Daniel for a boy, but I greatly dislike the fem versions. Daenerys is unthinkable. Danica ... a lot of people assume it sounds like DANikka, but if they can get over that, it's the best option. And then you could use Dani quite easily.

I mean...it does sound like DAN-ih-ka in English, and that’s the prn I use in my head, I’m admittedly not a fan of the Slavic prns.I prefer Dany to Dani, Danny is too masculine imo. I don’t think anyone in any English speaking country would mispronounce Dany as Day-nee.
