I have met girls' with this name, but nothing makes it seem feminine to me.

I much prefer Rhian or Rhiannon. I don’t mind Ryan for a boy even if it is a bit 90ish but Ryann or Ryanne look too kre8ive for me.

I think Ryann/Ryanne is a good feminine name, as long as it's spelled with two n's. I prefer spelling it "Ryanne," but either way is fine.

I knew someone who named her daughter Lisha Rian around 1980. She thought she had invented both names.I've never known a Rian, Ryann or Ryanne.I once worked with a Lisha though. She said her mother must have had a couple too many mint juleps to name her baby Lisha.

It's just blah to me. It's not bad. Just blah, not my thing - sort of like Jordyn, with a dated feeling like Joann or Leanne. Ryan is boring and kinda dated, and the pronunciation of Ryann is ambiguous because it looks like it has Ann in it. I used to know someone who named her daughter this. She pronounced it just like Ryan.Strangely, if it were Ryenn or Ryenne I would like it a ton more. And be more confident to pronounce it just like I do Ryan.

I've met a Ryann before, but it was pronounced Ryan. I think Ryann and Ryanne are both annoyingly obvious attempts to feminize Ryan. I don't like either but if you have to use one, at least pronounce it ry-ANNE and not Ryan!

I never know how to pronounce Ryann | Ryanne. Ryan? Ree-Ann? Ry-Ann?I only kind of like it if it’s pronounced Ree-Ann and if that’s the case I prefer Rhian | Riane and actually greatly prefer Rhiannon.Ryan always sounded irritatingly whiny for me for either gender and Ry-Ann just sounds...odd?

Ryan is a super dated 90s name for boys. I find it kind of handsome on boys (or at least would if it hadn't been so overused). On a girl it's okay. It doesn't really work for me but it's not horrible.I would much rather see Rhian or Rhiana. Or Rhiannon. But if you must, I would just stick with Ryan and add a feminine middle name. Ryanne is better than Ryann. Ryann looks really misspelled and still masculine.Edited: So if you really wanted to use it I would suggest you stick with Ryan.Unless you pronounce it differently and then I would go with Ryanne.
