Marjorie is great, and deserving of a comeback. As long as it isn't accompanied by "Marge" (blech!). I've always pronounced it mahr-zhər-ee rather than mahr-jə-ree anyway (which is why I like Marjorie, but not Margery), that sort of circumvents Marge.
Super cute. I used to hate it, but Marjorie really grew on me. That "jorie" part is so sunny and happy.
I like it.
My boss's daughter was named Marjorie back in the 90s and it was very unusual seeming. She went by Margie or Marji (I never saw it written). It seemed surprisingly youthful to me even then. I guess I never thought it got stuffy the way other old names do.

nice
I've always liked it: my cousin married a very nice one, and I was at school with another excellent one. Plus, the (late) mother of a good friend ... positive associations, but I'd be surprised to meet a young Marjorie, or Margery, or Marjory. I don't even know when I met a young Margaret, which I think is more mainstream.
Still a little 70s-ish/grandma feeling to me, but I do actually know a young-ish Marjorie and it's not too bad on a real person. I dislike Marge, however. I'd maybe use Margot as a nickname (but then, I'd probably just name her Margot ;) ). Oh, and it somewhat unfortunately reminds me of margarine.

It's definitely an interesting outmoded choice. I used to know a young girl maybe 3 or so years my junior with it that grew up in my hometown. She was named for a grandma that died before the children knew her unfortunately. To me this is one of those names that isn't really comback potential ready yet similar to Helen and Edith *though Marjorie is a little more appealing than some of the other choices of that bracket* But don't get me wrong here I don't hate it.. I'm just kinda "meh" about it.
Love it
