I like Rosetta; the more I think about it, the more I like it. There's the stone, of course, but it also makes me think of Rossetti, so it has a great sort of Pre-Raphaelite vibe to it, or the Arts and Crafts Movement: a sense of sturdy, natural folksiness. It has that hint of vintage sweet-strength that accompanies names that were once chosen because they seemed fresh and romantic at the time but they grew up to be tough and sensible, like Edith, Mildred, Maude, and Ethel. Rosetta has a core of steel.

I love it and I feel if I knew a single Rosetta she would trump the association with the program. Besides, the concept of the actual Rosetta stone is SO COOL!

I used to use it a lot as a kid to learn Spanish for my cousins. It’s not a bad association, just hard to get off.

I agree but at least it isn't a very bad association. The language learning programs are actually pretty good lol.
