[Opinions] Yves
I've been liking the thought of Yves lately, mostly as a MN but also just in general.
What would you think if you met someone named Yves?
Also how do you think it compares to Ivar?

It's pretty, I think Yves Saint Laurent immediately but at the same time it's not too attached to the designer, I just think his name flows well but I wouldn't be surprised to meet an Yves, I don't actually picture any specific kind of person. However, I like the idea of a sib set Yves and Eve. They look nothing alike on paper.Yves is infinitely softer than Ivar but I like both.

I love Yves. I also think Yves would be very chic on the right sort of woman (I'm terrible, I know). Ivar has a very different sort of energy to Yves - I mean, they both seems rather dastardly, but Yves seems a bit smoother about it. Ivar has a bad temper, I can tell already.I have a friend whose parents are Edith and Yves, isn't that an amazing duo? The Yves in question there is an awful person, totally ruins the name. But I'd still love to meet another, better Yves.

I like Yves. I know several, but they are older men. It's not really used on little boys in my area. I like both, but slightly prefer Yves. In an English-speaking context, I think I prefer Ivar. I just feel like Yves isn't intuitive for Anglophones.

My first association is Yves from the K-pop group Loona, even though she's a gal and it's just a stage name (her real name is Ha Soo Young). lolBut I don't really care or it or Ivar; I prefer the feminine Yvette.

I love Yves! It's so suave. I prefer it to Ivar, though I quite like Ivor / Yvor.

I would want to pronounce it Yuh-ves. Ivar I'd pronounce like Iver. Both are very unattractive, even knowing that yves is said eeves. Still yuck.

It's not even pronounced eeves. It's said like the word eve. :)

I love it. I think Yves is softer and smoother than Ivar.Edit: I missed a question. If I met a person called Yves, my mind would probably immediately think of Yves Saint Laurent.
