I don't actually know what does "Freek" mean, but I'm sure that the name Tommy is a diminutive of Thomas, which derives from Hebrew and means "twin". It became known in Western world thanks to the Greek translation of the Bible -it became a "best-seller" in the Ellenistic empire.
