[Facts] the name Tevin
I have 8 mth old male twins. Their names are Tevin and Gavin. In the past I only found the name Tevin once or twice. Does anyone know the origin or anything about this name. I have heard it's off the name Tavish/Tavin. I'd really like to find out more on the name Tevin. Thanks a bunch.constantchaos@aol.com

Unless "Tevin" really is a variation of "Tavish" or "Tavin", it would otherwise appear to be a contemporary American invented name. One reference source I have claims that it was created to rhyme with "Kevin".If it actually has any Celtic roots, Daividh might know. He generally comes on board for the night shift. :)-- Nanaea

I've heard it before, but not in any Celtic context. It bears no relation to anything I recognize. I vote for the invention theory.- Da.
