I think I'm too future-oriented not to think of it as a vice name. It seems more like Vanity than it seems like Hope. But it sounds pretty neat. I've had a name crush on it before, esp the combo June Reverie.

Lame. Awkward as a name.

Never thought of this as a name before. It's actually very cool, I like it. I think people would stumble over the pronunciation a bit though.

Sounds like what you do to a reluctant car engine. And I'm not a fan of its actual meaning either.

Ugh, I LOVE this "name". I think I have it saved to my "kitschy names" list. There are a few trendy-style word/names that I really like and Reverie is one of them. I think of Pre-Raphaelite paintings with this name, it's so unsubtle, a Romantic two-by-four to the head. I love the idea of naming someone after a daydream. I would totally use it because I'm just that kind of ridiculous. What would I call a Reverie for short? Everie? Ev? Ever? Something. How would I combo it?Reverie Ethel Amandine
Reverie Amelia Rosabel
Reverie Millicent Juliet
Reverie Lucilla Maude
Reverie Vera Jayne
Reverie Florence Christabel
Reverie Ophelia MillaisUgh yes, I feel like I'm gorging myself at a dessert buffet.Edit: I said this name aloud a few times and realized it sounds almost exactly like "referee" so maybe it would be better as a middle name....

I find this non-traditional name very appealing. A bit of a guilty pleasure perhaps.
