I posted briefly as Themistocles because I like the meaning. But, I grew to hate it pretty quickly. It's so sticky and mushy, like a bunch of crunched up roach guts with roach legs sticking out. Have I ruined it for you? I ruined it for myself. Themis is so pretty.I like Iris Themistoclea and Zoe Themistoclea and Helen Themistoclea. As a first name... I think it pretty much does not combine lol. Melanie and Sophia work maybe the best on this list.Themistoclea Eos

Themistoclea Equinox
Themistoclea Poetry
Themistoclea Chrysanthe hey this is okay
Themistoclea America

Many winners here. Cristofania, Syncletica, Skuld lmao! Shivali, I'll permit Sopheap but that is quite swampy, Selvaggia, Sosipatra... I think Solaris is the actual #1 winnerWHat is off-putting about the meaning? Themis is one of my favorite images of divinity

Idk, Law and Glory do not seem aesthetically compatible concepts to me. They're so ugly together. Unyielding and glaring. Self-righteous, on average.Laws are necessary evils. I do like having them but not when they're glorified.I guess the most charitable way I could think of it is 'splendidness of proper proportions and natural forces'...which still seems a little priggish.
Or 'equality and order as a manifestation of the divine' doesn't seem too bad, but I don't think that'd be an honest rendering of custom and law, as concepts IRL.I don't hate it. I mostly just feel suspicious of it. Maybe because I'm left-handed, who knows.

Oh! To me natural law is the only way existence is able to manifest and do anything. Cles of themis is glory in the things about the world that make creation and some sense of predictability possible. It's a celebration of being here! But I am cap moon

hm, well maybe as a pisces moon, I would rather nurture chaos than celebrate order.

These are exquisite! I think my favorites are Themistoclea Sosipatra (wow, Sosipatra!) and Themistoclea Sostrate.

I love Sosipatra. I haven't thought of it in a while.

Themistoclea is exquisite! And such a powerful meaning!
It'd be a gp to use it as a full name for Clea :)

Themistoclea Angeline?

GloriousHaha I give you this I had to pause and think how to pronounce this for a few seconds. I love long and absurd names and this is amazing hahaha. My 2 cents? Any long name can be paired if you only focus on the end of the name and how the beginning of the middle name would sound following that ending. That is the key. Ignore the whole name when working pair ideas until you practice a few. My ideas? Themistoclea Aurora
Themistoclea Jinora
Themistoclea Arietta
Themistoclea Melania
Themistoclea Ilania
Themistoclea Yvonne/Yvaine
Themistoclea Celine
Themistoclea Giovanna
Themistoclea Hermione :)

And since you are a fellow lover of long and unusual names I would also like to bring your attention to Cristofania, An obscure Spanish name I discovered recently that means to have a vision of Christ and it comes from the word Chrisophony.

Cristofania is lovely! I've been thinking a lot about Cristofano lately. I'm also newly swooning over Chrysostom.

Ooo Cristofano is lovely as well. I am a little bit tongue tied with Chrysostom but it is still visually appealing! :)

Wow, now there's a name. It's so opulent in a highly intelligent way. I'd love to find out a Clea is actually a Themistoclea. Themistoclea Margaret stands out for me, and I don't generally like Margaret - I also like the idea of Themistoclea Margot.

It is a mouthful! I want to pair it with a short punchy name.
Themistoclea Io
Themistoclea Eos
Themistoclea Joan
Themistoclea Joy

I was thinking about Themistoclea Joan, but I didn't know if the combo would sound too thudding. I really like it!

I like the thud in it!

Themistoclea Joan is fantastic!
