I dislike it. It starts with 'I', which seems opinionated, and ends up as the name of an annoying and inconvenient plant.

I never thought of I-names as being "opinionated" before.... it's made me see them in a whole new light!
Only when the initial I sounds like the pronoun. Imogen is fine, so's Isobel. And I get the same uneasy feeling from names that sound as if they start with ME!
What about names that sound like they start with other pronouns? Yulia, Shira, Helios?
