PersephoneKore could have pronunciation problems, plus it is too close to core. Persephone is more familiar I think, and prettier.

KoreWith the kor-eh pronunciation. I think it's beautiful.I think where I live, it would be less connected to the myth than Persephone, which makes it more appealing to me.

KoreI say it more like Kor-ay than Kor-ee, but either way, that'd be my pick. Persephone's too goth for me.

Persephone 100%. Kore just doesn’t sound appealing to me? Persephone is quite powerful and beautiful.

Kore - but it’s not an easy choiceI prefer Kore (which is said more or less like Cora in my language). I think it has a lot of understated beauty that I appreciate a lot. That said, I have recently fallen in love with Persephone and I find it very very beautiful as well.

Persephone, without question. My instinct is to pronounce Kore the came as Corey, which I regard as a masculine name (and one I'm not actually fond of, since as a masculine name it sounds a bit juvenile to my ears - like Riley and Wiley). Outside of some European countries (mainly Greece) you'd probably have difficulty making the proper koh-reh pronunciation stick. I find the English variant Cora to be more palatable, but prefer other Cor- names to it (e.g. Cordelia or Corinna).Persephone is gorgeous, however. And I don't think pronunciation difficulties would be as plentiful as many others estimate, given its visual similarity to the increasingly popular Penelope.

PersephoneI like this better than Kore. Sorry!

PersephoneKore (out loud) is pretty much just Corey in my accent, which isn't my style. I think Persephone is beautiful and interesting but still wearable.

PersephoneIf Kora were spelled Cora, then sure.

KoreLeaning towards Kore. Persephone is beautiful. But it feels over the top, in a way. I'm not sure just anyone could wear the name well. Kore is an easier fit.
