It's heavy and unappealing. I can't imagine it on a child. I'd pronounce it joe-SEF-a.

I prefer Josephine. Sounds more natural.

Really pretty. It's a nice alternative to Josephine, which is becoming a little too popular for me. I kind of lean towards the Josefa spelling, but either is fine. I emphasize the middle syllable.
