What are your thoughts on Dylan?

I like the sea god association. Also, it is not very common anymore but doesn't sound overly dated so I think it's very usable now.

A sea god, if anyone, would be Tangled Up In Blue ... I've never met a Dylan, though I do know a Delon; I prefer Dylan.

I don't like the Bob Dylan connection, which is probably why I prefer it as a feminine name. But it's still okay as a masculine name.

It's actually really grown on me lately. It's still a little more popular than I like but given time I might add it to my list. It helps that I like Bob Dylan.

I still know a pretty high number of young men in their twenties named Dylan. It's really not a bad name at all, per se. But I'd rather see it take a longer rest before coming back.
