To be totally honest, I’ve always thought it sounded really pretty. I really love the sound of it actually. The whole heaven spelled backwards thing is neither here nor there for me, though I’ve always thought the spelling was a little strange because of that fact. Nevaya makes so much more sense to my brain and I don’t mind the way it looks at all. I think it gets a lot of unnecessary hate, simply because it’s heaven spelled backwards and started off as a celeb baby name. It actually reminds me of a few Hebrew names with similar sounds that are also beautiful.
