Help[Opinions] Rivers
What are your thoughts on Rivers for a boy? I thought about it recently.
Do you think it's odd because it's a plural?
Do you think it will always get confused with the more popular River? I was worried at first but then realized that Brooke used to be common for girls and now Brooks is rising for boys but I don't find them close at all.
Thoughts?
Oh and while we're at it, do you like Brooks?
And for a boy do you prefer:
River or Rivers?
Brook or Brooks?

I guess it’s okay, but I prefer River. I think it would get confused with River, but it’s not the end of the world. I think the difference between River/Rivers and Brooke/Brooks is that Brooke is generally a female name while River is primarily a male name. That’s why they feel different to me. I love Brooks, BTW.

I watched “My Dog Skip” recently for the first time in over a decade and there’s a little girl named Rivers in the movie. I personally like it more for a girl but I kind of like it for a boy as well.
