For the most part, Canada's overall name popularity is similar to that of the United States (which makes sense, we are culturally similar); but what caught my eye was just how popular Maya still is in Canada, where it seems to be falling here.
Edit: then again, the overall number of babies born in Canada was fewer than in the U.S., so that could also influence popularity differences (~390 in Canada versus >3600 in the U.S. named Maya).
