[Opinions] Annabelle
WDYT? I love this name, but not enough to use. A lot of people associate the horror doll movie of the same name, but I doubt it now, but still.

I like the name too. I have never seen the movies so no comment on them. For some reason it just sounds like a cow name and that’s why I never wanted to use it.

Annabelle is okay. I love Annabel. Annabel feels so much more classic and down to earth. Annabelle is too frilly.Yes, people 100% think of the horror movie. That's why it has been dropping like a rock in the popularity charts.I still think it's usable, but I would definitely pick Annabel (the horror doll is Annabelle).

I think it’s a lovely name too. Never heard of the movie, so not an issue for me. I have a SIL named Annabelle / Annabel (not sure of spelling!), but she always goes by Anne.

I love it, but prefer the Annabel spelling - Annabelle looks a little overwrought to me sometimes. I don't like horror, so I don't really have the movie association!

I never liked it much, but it’s growing on me. I prefer the Annabel spelling though.

It's Annabel Lee (the poem). That is one of the many reasons why I prefer the Annabel spelling. The poem is lovely.

My association - Annabel Lee By Edgar Allan Poe.
I like its mysterious, gothic aura. And Annabelle looks even prettier on paper.

Love it. Annabelle Lucy ia favorite combo. I do not associate it with the doll. But I never saw the movie. Whenever I hear that referenced, I just think "Oh yes, that is a thing, I suppose". But I don't think of it spontaneously.
