Tirion used to be one of my favourite go-to suggestions for people looking for an established girl name that wasn’t too frilly, along with Carmen and Tamsin.

However, as much as I loved Tyrion the GoT character, he did make the name less usable. For all his good points he was an alcoholic who made some questionable decisions and had a major chip on his shoulder. And while Peter Dinklage is handsome, the book character was written to go against pretty much every standard of beauty. That shouldn’t matter, but for bullies looking for something to torment a kid about, it might.

I think it's fine on a boy, atrocious on a girl, the Tyrion spelling is better and looks less like a cell phone brand.
