I hate it. It does remind of the Pokémon Mareep though.

I prefer Marie most definitely.

Awful but kind of fun in a kitschy way

I'd never use it or delight in encountering it IRL, but I do enjoy the tawdriness.

It's dated (like Marie is) and I kinda like it!
I like the style of -ee endings, in a way. Marie seems prissy next to Maree.

The only trouble with Maree is, I hesitate about whether it's said like Marie or like Mary.
