I loved Patrick as a kid (and this was before Spongebob). I don’t really like it too much any more.

Patrick is too old and harsh for me. It reminds me of a cynical guy. However I met a sweet young boy named Patrick. Plus, you cant go wrong with Patrick Star from SpongeBob, that's a common association.

It's a name that seems to always be fairly popular among Catholics. I don't think it's ever exactly out of style. And most I've known have birthdays around St. Patrick's Day.
