Ne-yo and his wife just welcomed baby girl Isabella Rose. The sibset goes like this:
DH (41): Shaffer Chimere Smith, Sr. "Ne-Yo"
-Ex-DFI (41): Monyetta (can't find her middle name) Shaw
--DD (10): Madilyn Grace Smith
--DS (9): Mason Evan Smith
-DW (34): Crystal Renay (Williams) Smith
--DS (5): Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. "SJ"
--DS (3): Roman Alexander-Raj Smith
--DD (nb): Isabella Rose Smith
I think Madilyn, Mason, and Isabella (and MAYBE Roman) are on point with coherency, but if I didn't know Shaffer Chimere was also Ne-Yo's real name, I'd think "poor kid, sticking out like a sore thumb"! lol
Congrats to Ne-Yo, aka the greatest male R&B singer of the 2000s! (in my opinion, anyway lol)

Wow, so basic - I mean Madilyn Grace, Isabella Rose, Mason Evan. They're alright! A celeb who doesn't care to use their kids' names to make a statement. That's refreshing.
I like the mom's names better - Crystal and Monyetta.
I also like Roman Alexander-Raj.

I shouldn't complain because it's decent and not Raddix or Powerful or Blue, Bear, Bowie.
But it's so incredibly boring and already feels tired and dated. It's a super-standard combo, sort of like Hannah Grace, Ella May, Emma Rose, Ava Elizabeth *yawn*. It still sounds sort of okay now but it will be the Jennifer Anne, Sarah Jane, Jessica Marie or Amy Lynn of the future. So dull.
I am so so sick and tired of Isabella, I can't even put it into words. I think I even prefer just Bella because it doesn't feel soo tired. I still like Isabelle, Isabel. I love Rose but together with such a popular name it's even more boring.
Doesn't Lori Loughlin have an Isabella Rose already? Well, I guess many celebs do.
Sorry, but it is so underwhelming.
Madilyn is a horrible misspelling, Mason is trendy and dated, Shaffer is odd (it's like someone heard "chauffer" and didn't know how to spell it), Roman is creepy Polanski, Isabella is bland but probably the best!?
I love Crystal (I think of winter, ice crystals etc.) but Renay cheapens it (Renée is fine). Chimere is odd. Alexander-Raj is odd. Evan is bland. Grace is fine. Monyetta is not my style at all. I feel sorry when kids have to be juniors, at least give him a different middle name so the mail doesn't get mixed up. I once read a horror story about a son getting a criminal record for his dad and it took ages to solve.
