[Opinions] Bryan
What are your opinions on the name Bryan? Personally, it's one of my favorites. I prefer it to Brian which I think is such an overused name. Everyone I know has met someone named Brian at least once in their life. It's just...ugh...SO COMMON! I love the sound of Brian, but the spelling isn't for me. It looks like it should be pronounced "Bree-an" (not "Bree-AN" like Brianne) which I'm not a fan of. I also don't like that it's an anagram of the word Brain. So many people misspell Brian as Brain that it isn't even funny. I HATE when people misspell Brian as Brain. It's interesting how replacing the "i" with a "y" changes all of that for me. Sort of like a modern-classic. Unique and trendy but it also has that warm and homely classic feeling. Bryan would be less likely to get mispronounced. The only problem I have is that it might be misspelled as Brian, but it isn't that big of a deal to me. To me, Bryan seems like a cool guy kind of name. Someone fun to hang out with and who you can trust with all of your secrets. He always picks the coolest hangout places. One combination that I'm really liking atm is Bryan Xavier. What are your thoughts on that as well?

I'm fine with Brian, and Bryan looks like an unnecessary elaboration.

I used to prefer Bryan to Brian but now I think it’s the other way around, I prefer Brian to Bryan. Both names are perfectly fine either way but Brian is way too dated and common as a name. Bryan Xavier is handsome. :)

I don't like it. It's a dad name like Jeffrey and Kevin are. I have an uncle named Brian that was very easygoing and friendly.
