[Opinions] WDYTO Adam?
Adam has always been one of my favorite names. I’m a bit blown away that it never entered the top 100 until 1970 because it seems like a timeless name. I guess it is similar to Noah in that nature (I guess).

It's very religious sounding to me and also sort of basic and starting to sound out of fashion.Same category as Matthew, Andrew, only slightly more religious sounding.I don't think it's timeless, I associate it with men in their late 20s-50s.I associate Noah with younger boys. Noah sounds super trendy to me even though it is a classic name.

I’ve always thought it was very boring (due to someone I knew), but a new association totally changed that. I now see it as a tough and musculair name, yet good natured.I agree that Adam and Noah are quite similar (two syllables, early OT, timeless, multilingual)

It's alright. It's like a standard everyman name like Joshua, Andrew, and Jason. Very harmless. I can't picture a child named Adam though.

Very dreary. Pretty much the Matthew of the Old Testament.

I like Adam. It's a sturdy & handsome name. Perfect for a firstborn son.

Its so boring to me, Noah is far nicer but I think thats just cause i associate Adam with old men like Adam Sandler age and vibe but Noah is like a cute kid or kind 20 something which is more pleasant ahah

There's nothing wrong with the name, it's just not a personal favorite and I find it a bit boring.

Adam is one of my favorite names. It was the name of a childhood friend, too, but I haven't talked to him in years. Anyway, it's easy to spell and recognizable in several languages, so it's a good travel name too.
