A youtube couple I used to follow and love when I was a teenager just had their first baby!
Rose & Rosie welcomed a baby boy, Ziggy Wilder.
And yes the parents names are so similar, Rosies full name is Roseanne and Rose is just Rose but I always thought it was funny they basically have the same name as their girlfriend.

I don’t love Ziggy, but Wilder is super cute. That’s funny about the names! I think I’ve seen their videos on my recommended page.

That's just dumb. I'm not even going to say "sorry, but I think that's dumb" because it is just plain dumb. Ziggy sounds like a puppy's name, or like they let a couple of six-year-olds name the baby and didn't give them any guidelines.

My kitten's full name is Ziggy Stardust actually! I've thought about getting a herd of kittens and collectively naming them the Spiders from Mars, but right now he just has a sister named Siouxsie Sioux.

It's bad. So bad. Typical "look at me, I am a celebrity" baby name. Both names.
It's like Bear Blue or Bowie Blu or one of these super generic celeb names that are equivalent to Hannah Grace or Emma Marie in the regular world *yawn*.
And Ziggy is sort of ridiculous and Wilder has this "oh he's so willllld" image which is embarrassing.

I know of them, and was wondering what they'd choose. It's not my style, but it's unusual without being ridiculous, so I respect that. I imagine the same/similar name thing happens a fair deal. It's partially why I'm glad I have a not too popular name and go by a more unusual nn.

Probably an unpopular opinion (I haven’t seen the comments yet) but I love Ziggy so much! It’s on my PNL and even alternates on my Top 10; however, I think I’d use it for a cat over a human.
