What are your thoughts on Lindley for a girl?

I really like it, it's so calm.

Will it always get confused with Lindsay?

Does it sound dated to you because it is similar?

Do you pronounce the D?

It's ok and yes I'd prounce the d, if you don't pronounce the d, it would get confused with Linley

It has "cousin Linnie" vibes, I don't know how to describe it...country club WASP?

It does feel kinda dated, but also modern at the same time because -ley names are in right now.

Pronunciation looks straight forward, 'lind-lee'.

I like it much better than Lindsay, although it's kind of hard to say out loud. A bit easier if you don't pronounce the D, but still a bit confusing.

Of course it may get confused with Lindsay, but I think it's different enough that people will remember it after being told once.

I think it will definitely always get confused with Lindsay or Lindsey. I prefer Lindsay or Lindsey by a mile, tbh.
