Yeah, it reminds me far too much of the Muppet. I happen to adore the Muppet (especially the old skits where he was a waiter who constantly tormented the grouchy customer) but it's so tied to the Muppet, unlike, say, Oscar, that it's not usable except maybe for a pet.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
