Love it, it’s so pretty. My maternal great-great grandmother’s name was Ada Florence and I have always found that combo to be one of the most beautiful names I’ve ever heard. Shame she was a rather horrible lady! That puts me off using it I must admit. That said, I do prefer Florence in the mn spot, as I really don’t like Flo as a nn.

I think it's rather plain, unlike the city (which I love). Flo & Ren are cute nicknames.

I'm teetering on the edge. I used to not like it, but it's starting to grow on me. The harsh C sound is slightly off-putting for me, but I like it for other names so I don't know.

My grandmother's name, and a family name on both sides; however, one of them was actually named Florrie, which puts me right off but does show that it was the standard go-to nn. That, and Flo. And both of them are not to my taste at all, so in spite of all those elderly relatives I took a long time to warm up to Florence as a full name. Now, I like it very much but only on condition that it doesn't get nicknamed in any way at all.

I love Florence. I adore Florence. Easily top 10, would use it in a heartbeat.
