I prefer Emmaline em ma line
I’ve loved this name ever since I first watched “The Blue Lagoon”.
And I love Emmy as a nn for this name.
I go back and forth with the pronunciations. In my opinion, EHM-ə-leen is prettier and softer sounding, but I worry it’s too close to sounding like Emily, you’d really have to enunciate the ‘een’ sound at the end.

Lovely
It's a pleasantly sophisticated name. I only like the "lien" pronunciation.

I prefer AA Milne's pronunciation!

For more than a week.
She slipped between
The two tall trees at the end of the green
And it goes on. As a poem, it's delightful. As a name, too fancied-up, too long and the rhythm is unattractive; I far prefer Emily, in spite of its current popularity. And, I know they've both got three syllables, but Emmeline has a secondary stress on the last syllable which makes it seem longer.

It's beautiful. I pronounce it EHM-ə-leen most of the time.
Emmeline is a very pretty name that is hardly used, yet still feels common due to the ubiquity of Emily / Emma. I prefer this spelling (over Emmaline), and pronounce it "em-ə-leen."
It's a solid name, having all the familiarity of Emma but with a little twist that isn't crazy to understand. It's not my favorite name, but it's not bad at all.
I would pronounce it EHM-ə-leen, because EHM-ə-lien sounds like a cleaning product to me.

The Orphan of the Castle. Pretty, but a bit bland - it doesn't have the personality of Emilia. I use EHM-ə-leen.
