I was thinking about this name the other day. It's an interesting name because it's so, so boring, yet I don't know if I know any Johns! I know lots of Jons, but not John. It's kind of handsome in a way, it's simple and resonant. I love the nn Johnny. And if I used it I could say it's in honour of me because both my nickname and John are slang words for toilet in different cultures, lol! Yeah, that earns it some personality points in my mind. If you say it over and over and over again, it starts to lose its boringess and becomes alien and fascinating. John is like the spoon of names.
