[Opinions] Reign
What are your thoughts on Reign?
Today I have pretty much just come to the realization that this name is practically the ultimate celeb baby name. I do think it is unisex, and I like the meaning. The name itself is fine.

I like it in a GP-ish way.
Yeah it's very trendy and sort of celebby. I think it's sort of boring, but I don't mind it. I like it a bit more than I like Rain.
I don't think it's pretentious or whatever. "Royalty" seems to be a fashionable theme and it doesn't bother me.
Regarding your other thread - a name that does kind of irk me as an overreach, is Saint. I'm sure I'd get used to it as a person's name, but I don't think I'd ever think it was a good name. It's like Cohen or Messiah, just misses the mark of nameyness for me.

It's always felt silly to me as a name. I suppose it is unisex in the sense it doesn't read as male or female to me, it doesn't read as a person at all. It's just not a word that works for that imo.
I don't love it as it is and would prefer just about any other spelling. I think of it as feminine.
Don't like it
If it's for a girl just do Reina. It means "queen" so it still has a regal quality without being so Hollywood trendy.
Over-ambitious, and easy to confuse with Rain and Rein.
Feels too trendy, like the 2020s Mackenzie. Also has pretentious vibes.
