I like Eva much better. It feels more timeless and international.

Ava and Anna / Hannah (also Otto) bug me in the same way: they are just too reversible for comfort. And Eva is a family name, so, Eva. I don't like it much, but it's better.

Ava is overdone now. Eva is more sophisticated imo.

I prefer Eva. It has more spice to it and sounds strong and independent.

Ava is okay. It seems mild and comparatively more placid.

I think both names are lovely and I enjoy the simplicity of them. Eva is my favourite of the two though, it’s just such a beautiful name. I also prefer the e sound over the a sound in this instance.

I like them both, but prefer Ava, though I like Evangeline/Evangelina with the nickname Eva.
