I always liked the name, but I worry about the Black Dahlia association. Otherwise it’d probably be in my top 10 options for use. It’s very pretty and I love floral names, but know that Rose, Lily, etc. can be overused sometimes

I, for one, don't really associate Dahlia with the Black Dahlia murders - it's all flower to me!

It's not my favourite of the flower names, but I do like it. It's so darkly sensuous. It's like the name Delilah and the word "dahling" put together.

It's very pretty, but I find it's multiple pronunciations confusing.

I adore this name, it's rarer than other flower names like Daisy, Rose or Violet. I agree with Ani - it has that lovely gothic pinch, modern but without being too strange.

I like it. I know a little girl with this name who goes by Dilly. I like Delia better.

Really pretty, kind of gothic-romance without being OTT. I do hate Dolly / Dollie, though.
