Real BTN fans will remember the user whose nicest combo was Zelda Esmerée.

Rather confusing, the way the Submitted Name says that Blonde Esmeree was saved by the hero Guinglain, also known as the Fair Unknown. And the name of the poem seems to be Le Bel Inconnu, which is doubly odd: given a choice, I'd say the Le should be a La, because would even Old French use bel raher than beau? Bel instead of belle makes more sense, and why would the hero and not the shapeshifting heroine be a Fair Unknown? Especially since she's a blonde. Granted, I haven't read the poem!Anyways, Esmeree might have distinguished roots, but in this millennium it just looks like an unsuccessful merger:PeachyGirl thinks of Desiree and that would work, but I just hear Marie, and someone with a strange accent saying Where es Marie?

Definitely a better alternative to Renesmee! I prefer Esmeray though: https://www.behindthename.com/name/esmeray/submitted
Esmeree still has the look of a smushed name to me.

Renesmee was my first association. It still feel made up regardless of the origin

Hmm... I want to like it, but I'd be worried about people thinking it's a mashup of Esme and Desiree. It has a nice story behind it, but...
