It's very dated to me, it's a "mom name" for my generation, so, a Boomer name. Not ripe for revival yet, in my neck of the woods. But it has that rather "plain Jane with big dreams" vibe I like so much, along with stuff like Arlene and Doreen and Eileen. I think it's the nasal "aaaaiiiiin" part that makes it both a bit grating and endearing. I think it could come back into some style in about 20 years.
