Solomon has been growing on me lately, and I am not sure why. I am not religious so I thought the same thing you did - is it too religious to actually use? To me, it sounds handsome and it's an established name that you don't hear everyday. I like it, though I am still unsure if I would use it. It also doesn't go great with my LN so it is probably out for me personally.

Definitely a name I used to loathe that I now love. It’s so handsome and established. Fell in love with it while I was binging Peaky Blinders (which also gave me a new appreciation for Thomas / Tommy).

I like Solomon, it has some major gravitas. I also like "Sol" as a nickname. It makes me think of supervillains before anything else, because of Solomon Grundy.

I love the name Moses so to me? Religious, but cool. I know a Solomon, he’s a nice guy. The name itself reminds me of Salmon, but that’s okay. I grew up around a lot of “religious” (Or even Biblical names in general for that matter) names. Some I didn’t even know were Biblical until later in my life. So to me a lot of the time they don’t even give me an actual “religious” vibe. It’s just a name. I would gladly use it for a child if I loved it so much.

My middle name is Solomon. I think it's okay, though a bit old-fashioned. It isn't that religious for me, and there are much more religious names that I have heard of. I was named after King Solomon.

I don't get a "too religious" vibe. But it is still quite a "heavy" name. I like it. Maybe better in the middle name spot?
