Don't like it, Bertha or Roberta

Hilarious merger! I couldn't take it seriously if I tried.

Aw, I think it's sweet. I like Roberta, too, but Robertha's aura is quite distinct.

Something about this name rubs me off the wrong way. I like Roberta, especially Roberta Grace, but I don’t think this cuts it. Are you pronouncing it as ROB-er-ta or RO-Berta?

I know the H (probably) isn't pronounced, but I want to pronounce it so bad. I love Roberta.

Are you pronouncing it "Rob-ER-ta" or "Rob-Bertha"?

I think it's Rob-Bertha in English, but I'm not sure in Portuguese.

In Portuguese, TH = T. If this is a Brazilian thing, it’s something that uneducated(usually) people invent to embellish the spelling. USA’s equivalent would be Jaxxon or Maddisyn.

Well in that case...I don’t like it. It gives me a weird feeling in my tongue. Roberta is more simple and interesting. It’s like somebody with a horrible lisp butchering a word. Maybe even a Kindergartener who doesn’t know for sure how to pronounce their t’s yet.

I don’t like feminine forms of very masculine names. So I prefer Robert.
