My favourite name is Zanthia and this is likely what I will choose. It's similar enough to Cynthia - it sounds normal to me. Ianthe, Penelope and Daphne et are also fine - I wouldn't worry about the spelling issue, especially as some of these are very common names. All kids don't know how to spell common names. Like Charlotte (my name) was spelt many ways upwards and downwards, yet it remains one of the most common names.
