[Opinions] Heathcliff and Hawthorn
What do you think? If you had to use one, which would it be and what middle name would you use?
Thanks! :)
Thanks! :)

I love Hawthorn (this spelling only), but don't like Heathcliff.
I would use Hawthorn Elric.
I would use Hawthorn Elric.
Hawthorn Elric feels very woodlandy!
I didn't like Wuthering Heights, and I can't separate Heathcliff from that. It doesn't really appeal, and mostly feels rough and violent. I think Heath and Cliff are slightly better separate, if anything.
Hawthorn on the other hand, feels softer, more magical, and whimsical. Probably because I have a positive association with it. I'd happily use it in the middle. As a first, I'd go for Hawthorn Atticus, Hawthorn Marlowe, Hawthorn Cedric, or Hawthorn Lorenzo maybe.

Hawthorn Marlowe is so superbly literary!
I don’t know why, but Hawthorn Glenn just popped in my head.
Naturey, I like it!
Not huge of Heathcliff, but Hawthorn is a huge GP for me. I prefer Hawthorne though.
Well, I like neither the syllable Heath nor Cliff, and I really dislike that book, and I don't even like the song that everyone likes that is apparently about the book.
I like Hawthorn all right, it's quite romantic. Indulgent. Hawthorne is how I would spell it. I'd prefer it as a middle name but let's try it as a first name
Hawthorne Jacoby haha
Hawthorne Francis
Hawthorne Peter
Hawthorne John David
Hawthorne Gavin
Hawthorne Barnaby
Hawthorne James

Hawthorne Barnaby! I like that!
I adore Hawthorn, although I like the slightly more dramatic Hawthorne. It makes me think of a spooky old forest with dark and twisted trees.
Heathcliff does nothing for me. Well, the Cliff part is ok, I do like Cliff. Wuthering Heights is just not my favourite Bronte novel.
Oh, I forgot the middle name part! I'd use Hawthorn Jeffrey, perhaps. Jeffrey is an honouring name and I think it would be a cute combo.

I’m the opposite, I like Heath but not Cliff. Hawthorn Jeffrey is nice!
Well, Heathcliff is a worthless person, which makes Hawthorn clearly preferable give that the association with the character is unavoidable
