It's okay. It's very common and boring in many countries. I have known Dimitris from Russia (lots and lots) and one from Romania and Ukraine each.I think it must be about as exciting as John in English speaking countries.Still it could be an interesting choice in the US. I mean I would expect Russian or Ukrainian or Slavic or maybe Romanian heritage (though I am not sure it's a Romanian name also or if it was a coincidence) but it could still work on an American child.I would put it in the same category as Juan or José or Jean-Pierre or something. It's nothing you'd expect people without a certain background to choose but it can still work.The sound is just okay and I'd be a bit worried he could get called "Dim".Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232
