I dislike it. It's just too harsh for me. The only thing I like is the Shakespeare association. Oh and I love Jessie. I'd rather see just Jessie or Jessamine nn Jessie.
It is the harsh J combined with the harsh S and K sounds. It's just unpleasant. And I can't stand Jess which seems to be what most Jessicas get called.

It’s okay I guess, but not that good. The meaning and etymology is interesting.
I'd use it today except for the fact I have a good friend named Jessica. (She is nearly eighty.)
Not particularly dated where I live. I like it a lot, but not as much as Jennifer, which isn't particularly dated here either.
