[Opinions] Dianny
I have a classmate this year named Dianny. Think of it as a hood variant of Diana. It’s pronounced DEE-AH-NEE. What do you guys think?_______________________________________________________

I like the way it sounds. The spelling is strange, but not totally stupid.

Diane, with the French pronunciation, would be dee-ahn. In English, die-AN. An would easily have Annie as a nn; Ahn, not. So, I perceive Dianny as a cross-language hybrid that doesn't work.

Not really a fan, it sounds very nicknamey.

I really like it! It reminds me of Dione (DIE-oh-nee), which I really love.
