Help[Opinions] Elena
There was a little girl (around 3 or 4 years old) named Elena visiting the library where I'm currently working today. Her name was pronounced in the Finnish way, that is EH-leh-nah. I've never met a child named Elena, so I was a bit surprised when I heard her mother calling her with this name.
What do you think of Elena? And which of its pronunciation do you prefer?

I know an Elena who pronounces it that way, though she’s Hispanic (oddly enough). I like the sound in a vacuum, but the never-ending confusion in an English speaking country really puts me off.
